who would have thought that history would repeat itself for their wedding day? of course it wouldn’t snow for their december wedding, but drizzled allllllll morning. yet, the second that jamie stepped out of her house to go to the church, the rain stopped and the skies parted! (i’m beginning to think she might be a little magic.) i was extra excited for their wedding because one of jamie’s bridesmaids was lauren, whose wedding we shot in 2010! i love, love, love getting to see past brides at weddings.
but the most fun we had at this wedding was taking lots of nighttime shots downtown! it’s rare that we get so much time to rock the nighttime portrait session. and since the streets were crowded with holiday tourists and last-minute shoppers, jamie&tim got quite the reception when we hung out around water tower!
to jamie&tim – you. guys. rock. we had a BLAST with you at your wedding! can’t wait to hang out again!!

i was totally smitten with jamie’s brocade dress!

we’ve had a few wedding parties now where the bride includes her brother on her side of the attendants. i love this idea!!

i love jamie’s subtle wintry touches with the centerpieces! (all of which she found on pinterest by the way!)
