Florence has an awesome market called the mercato centrale which has everything from fresh produce to pigs’ feet.
And of course, what’s a trip to Florence without a couple pictures of the Piazza del Duomo.
This one is dedicated to Liz. And she knows why.
He may look Italian, but it’s actually my little brother… and I mean little like in age. Because he’s enormous.

Well kids, I hope you’ve enjoyed this very brief tour through Florence. For those of you who don’t know, Tony and I studied abroad in Florence while in school. (That’s also where he asked me to marry him!) It’s funny, but once we were back, it felt like we never left. There really is something very magical about Italy. Even with the lack of shower curtains and no free refills. If you haven’t been, we strongly recommend it.
