oh what a busy trip we had! let me introduce ashley and ryan. ashley happens to be my cousin jessica’s bff since pretty much the dawn of time. so that makes her my cousin by default. and of course, when we found out that she and ryan were engaged, we jumped at the chance to take their engagement photos!

we really lucked out and shot on the ONE nice weather day we had in delaware. you know that blizzard that slammed the east coast last weekend? yeah… more on that craziness later.

so a big, fat congratulations to ashley&ryan! can’t wait for the wedding guys.

blog world, meet my insanely adorable cousin jessica, and her fiance paul! yes, i have a lot of cousins, and yes, they really are all this attractive. it’s ok to be jealous. everyone else is.

when i got the phone call that paul had FINALLY (hehe) popped the question, i did a little happy dance around my room. then i got even more excited when we realized that we were actually going to be coming home for a little bit and we could take some engagement pictures! luckily the weather gave us one good day and we were able to get some (obviously) awesome shots.

so even though they’re going to make me wait for-ev-er for their wedding, (2012! oi vey!), in the meantime, i will be taking about a bajillion photos. so get used to them! you’ll be seeing them a lot in the coming years.

the d family|portraits

seriously, how cute is this?

we wanted to get a few photos that included their dog, snowball. as you can see, he’s not very big on sitting still.

but we got one!

little j insisted she decorate her shoes with bows. i love her.

see! every once in awhile, we sneak in a traditional family portrait. hehe.

they’re baaaaaaack! we did a VERY quick mini-holiday session with my aunt and uncle and my flipping adorable cousins the other day. this is the first time we got to take photos with their new baby dog, snowball! snowball was big j’s and little j’s christmas present last year, and he has definitely taken this family by storm.

we’re having a blast in delaware, and can’t wait for our wedding this weekend! make sure you guys become our facebook fan! you’ll be helping feed lots of families this holiday season!

cans for fans!

so tony and i have been talking a lot recently about wanting to give back to the community this holiday and have finally figured out something we’re really excited about! between now and christmas, we will be donating one can of food for every new fan we get on our facebook page! we will be donating all of the food to the northern illinois food bank. the nifb is awesome, because not only do they collect and disburse food for the hungry, they also sponsor a lot of programs to help solve the hunger crisis.
