we are super lucky that we always get awesome clients. everyone goes along with our wacky/crazy/kooky ideas with usually minimal hesitation. but andrea&jack jumped in feet first! LITERALLY. andrea told us when we first met that she was moving to california in just a few weeks and wanted the quintessential chicago engagement session. and she REALLY wanted to do something crazy at the end. something like playing in millennium park’s crown fountain. obviously, we were ALL OVER that idea.

andrea also has a small umbrella obsession, so she brought along a few to play with during their session! and you know nothing makes me happier than a few good props.:Dwe started at the art institute of chicago, checking out the cool new installation art on the bluhm terrace. then played around the park before getting good and soaked in the fountain! their wedding in november is going to be AWWWEEEEESOME!

ps – i’d also like to say a huge THANK YOU to andrea for making us super yummy chocolate chip cookies!! i heart treats!

i should make a note here that there is 15″ in height difference between these two. we had a little fun playing with perspective.;)

as we were having fun taking photos, an art student across the park did a quick sketch of andrea&jack posing unbeknownst to us! before he left,
he gave them the picture.:Dhow cool is that?!
