So a few weeks ago, our awesome friend Liz came up from D.C. to visit. We were super excited because we haven’t seen her since we were all in Italy together three years ago. Go figure that’s when Tony decides to catch my cold and be sick all weekend, so he didn’t actually get to hang out with us. Too bad for him because Liz and I had a blast wandering through Chinatown and Little Italy and scoring some free sangrias along the way. Mind you, it was over 100 degrees that day thanks to 80% humidity. So maybe Tony had the right idea after all… 😛
We also have quite a knack for finding ourselves in awkward positions. We thought we were awesome for finding some really cool textured backgrounds to shoot against, when lo and behold, we were actually outside the Manhattan Correctional Facility. We had no idea until the gate opened and two cops drag a guy in who’s handcuffed and looking a little worse for wear. At least his last sight as a free man was Liz flashing a bit of leg! Lucky guy! 🙂
In all seriousness, we had a great time. I’ve been bugging her to come visit for awhile, and getting to hang out AND shoot some awesome pictures made my weekend. Liz come back I miss you!!
