holy cow, are we WAY behind on blogging. there will definitely be no shortage of amazing stuff up here all the way through the holidays.
anywho, i need to start this post with a disclaimer. if you are like me, and cry at silly things like the folgers christmas commercials, then you should probably skip straight to the photos. the first time i heard oliver’s story i was a mess for hours. we got to meet the wellman family through (who else?!) jen. we’ve mentioned before how jen is a NICU nurse at the children’s memorial hospital. through her we’ve met lots of amazing nurses, and i will be the first to admit i am blown away by these girls and the jobs they do.
jen met the wellmans when their son oliver was in the NICU for 8 long months. he had been born 14 weeks premature, and weighed just over 2 pounds. you can read all about the wellmans and their journey on oliver’s blog. when jen told they had never been able to do professional family photos before, we decided we needed to change that immediately.
oliver is now almost 2 years old, and is one of the sweetest kids i’ve ever met. he’s just mastered walking and zooms around everywhere. he’s full of smiles and loves sticking his tongue out every chance he gets. he even knows sign language! it was such a wonderful experience to meet him and learn all about his story.
to amy&jeff – your strength is so inspiring. you have such a beautiful family and we’re so glad we could meet you.
oliver and his best buddy, jen.
