oh man, where do i START with these two?! i remember when we first met with tina&charlie over a year ago. they were literally one of the first 5 couples we met with here. we had just moved our business to illinois from nyc, and had barely gotten the ball rolling in chicago. we clicked immediately at our meeting, and they were so enthusiastic about our work. i distinctly remember telling tony as we walked to our car, “i hope ALL of our couples are exactly like them!” their faith in us, and our young business, encouraged us more than i can ever say.
for the past year we’ve used their wedding as a benchmark since they booked us a year in advance. “by tina&charlie’s wedding we’ll do this…” and “i can’t wait for tina&charlie’s wedding, because we’ll have this…” their wedding was always in the abstract. always in the distant future.
and then i woke up that saturday morning with a feeling of disbelief. today is it! today is tina&charlie’s wedding! today is the day we’ve been waiting a WHOLE YEAR for!!
interwebs – their wedding was all we ever hoped for and more. we got to spend the whole day with one of our favorite couples and their amazing friends and family. we saw their nerves fade into excitement and pure joy over the course of the day. we heard an amazing love story through their ceremony, and their vows, and the reception toasts. we partied with them until the wee hours of the morning. it was fantastic!
